Silly Sketty Night

It was Spaghetti Night yesterday - a favorite at the Krupa house these days.  The girls were in an extra silly mood, so wanted to catch it on video.  Silly girls.

And yes, I do strip them down for sketty night.

Date Night! [and videos of the munchkins]

Friday night, Rob and I took advantage of the 'date night' perk our daycare offers.  After work we went to a couple different restaurant/bars to have dinner and drinks - just the two of us!  It was so nice being able to have an actual conversation together without reprimanding someone for throwing food, or chasing after a toddler who won't stay put in her booster seat.  We picked up some sleepy little girls afterwards, and decided we might just have to do date night once a month!

And here are some videos from yesterday afternoon.

They were cracking me up.  I heard them laughing at each other and "arguing" over something, sitting together in the corner.  They were trying to open the filing cabinet with our car keys and sounded like two cackling gremlins.  Ahhh, my kids are strange ones sometimes.

And here's Livi doing the daddy flip.
We learned this move at My Gym last weekend.

Little Gym

We took the girls to a place called My Gym last weekend.  Great place to get their energy out, I'll have to remember this when the cold winter rolls around.

 They had a blast!

Go Bears! and Random Cuteness

Our little Bears fans on game day this past Sunday - rooting on daddy's team for the inaugural game of the 2010-2011 season!

Yay!  Go Bears!

And then just some random cuteness for ya...

Serious and pensive Olivia

And a concerned Caroline?  Who knows.
Would it kill these kids to SMILE for a picture one of these days????  Shheesh.

Ok, here are some smiles and giggles.

Our Little Tu-Tutes

This past Saturday morning was a bit overcast and rainy, so we had to figure out inside entertainment.  The girls were ecstatic when I said, "let's play DRESS UP!"  After pulling out ALL of their dresses, shoes and accessories, they decided on the always appropriate tutus, sparkly shoes and necklaces which went so nicely over their pj's.  heehee.  They wouldn't taken them off for a good 3 hours.

A Couple Weekends Ago...

I'm just now getting around to posting these pictures of our visit to Papa Bede's & Mama Diane's house a couple weekends ago.  These girls always enjoy the wide open spaces at their house.  Nice break from our piece of concrete in the city.

First Day of SCHOOL!

Last Friday was a tough day for us, as we said goodbye to our Nanny, Miss Maria who has been with our family since the girls were only 5 months old.  While she has been an exceptional caregiver to our kiddos, we decided that the girls are at an age where they're ready for a more structured environment and in need of more social interaction.

After touring a few different facilities, we fell in love with this adorable day care center not too far from our home.  They consider themselves more of a "preschool" and are very educational-based.  They gave me a whole curriculum this morning so I know what the girls will be learning this school year!  C&O are in the 2 year old class - The Grapes classroom.  *Eeek, so cute.*  This year, they will be concentrating on identifying letters, numbers, shapes, colors, days of the week, and months of the year.  They will also focus on language development, including an introduction to words in Spanish (my kids are already ahead in that subject!), French and Sign Language.  Wow!!!  I cannot wait to see how the girls progress over the coming months.  What big girls we have now!

So today was their very first day of school!  This morning went better than I imagined.  We got them up and dressed and they were excited saying, "Take backpack to school!!!"  We all walked to the train station, and took the train two stops where the center is located.  They loved the train and kept saying, "okay, BYE TRAIN!  See you!"  And the best part - NO TEARS!  We talked with their teachers a bit, then kissed them goodbye and scurried out as they were distracted by all the kids and toys.

I have been staring at the clock all day, wondering what they are doing and hoping they took a nap, and ate the lunch provided, etc.  Can't wait to pick them up this evening to hear how they did!  Wish us luck with the transition - it's not easy getting all four of us out of the house and on a morning commute!

Here are a few pictures I snapped at drop-off this morning.

Liv was a bit hesitant when we first got there,
but let her guard down after a few minutes.
